Establishment of the Institution

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior, Directorate General Civil Defence, Islamabad, has established Federal Civil Defence Training School, Faisalabadsince May 23, 2009for the cause to promote safety culture and to prepare the nation to minimize losses of life and property during any war eventuality of any natural and man-made disaster.

Inauguration

The honorable the then Director General Civil Defence, Government of Pakistan, Br. (R) Javed Iqbal Cheema inaugurated the institution on October 17, 2009.

Objectives

The objectives of Federal Civil Defence Training School at Faisalabad are to provide Training Facilities in various aspects of Civil Protection to the people. The establishment of Federal Civil Defence Training School, Faisalabad, is a mile stone for the citizen of Faisalabad being the big city of Pakistan having maximum industries which are playing a vital role in the socioeconomic development of the country.

Training Activities

Training activities are undertaken with effect from October 2009. All the courses are conducted by the institution as per Annual Training Schedule. The Electronic and Print media is used to cover the training activities by the institution likewise Newspaper, Radio, Television and Internet. As newly established institution, we have got our goals in very short span of time.

Consultancy

Federal Civil Defence Training School, Faisalabad, is playing a vital role in one of the big industrial city of the country by providing fire consultancy services in different industries and organizations to deal with fire hazards during peace time and war emergency.
